The Hunter
A modicum of terror,
A flash of golden wings,
The song bird's joy is ended,
With the death life always brings.

To watch Schuster run swiftly and leap and bounce in his enthusiasms as he runs across the deck, brings me an instant rush of joy. In such a state I could watch him forever, though in the garden he quickly disappears. For a moment I see in Schuey a foretaste of paradise.

Earthen Vessels
The Resurrection body,
Never weak, nor ill, nor slow;
The Resurrection body,
A joy in which to grow,
A joy to be and know.
The will held perfectly in God,
Sin no more a threat--
The Resurrection body,
For which Christ has paid the debt.

Not pie in the sky;
No matter who tells you,
It's Joy by and by.
